Margaret M. Johnson - Simone Cassin
I began my writing career 30 years ago as a high school English and Journalism teacher. Once the travel bug kicked in, I combined both passions and started writing--first about Ireland and then about European destinations in general.
I've visited every country in Europe both by land and sea, and just made my first foray into Asia visiting Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Thailand.
I'm the author of five Irish cookbooks and, most recently, one on afternoon tea titled "Tea and Crumpets."
I've written both food and travel pieces for Tribune Media Servce's "World's Fare" and "Foodstyles" sections, for the "Irish Echo" newspaper, "House" Magazine, and Dublin's "Food And Wine" Magazine. You'll also find me blogging from my website www.margaretmjohnson.com.
